The Water Bread Recipe
To create this type of bread, we will need the following ingredients:
- 400 grams of flour
- 220 grams of water
- 5 grams of yeast
- 5 grams of salt
- 30 grams of olive oil
We can get started by putting our flour in a large bowl. Then we need to add the water and yeast to the center of the mound of flour. After the yeast has completely dissolved, we will add the olive oil and salt to the bowl. Now knead the dough until there is an even mixture of ingredients. Next, form the dough into a ball and allow it to rise until it has doubled in size.
The dough is now ready, so we can lightly knead it again and start to give it some shape. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and let it continue to rise for one more hour. Set the oven to 220 degrees Celsius, and while it preheats being heating a pot of water. Meanwhile, use a knife to etch several lines along the top sides of the 4 sections of dough.
Once the water is boiling, we can immerse the 4 sections of dough and let them cook for about 3 minutes. Next, spread out the sections along the oven pan and add some salt and olive oil to the top of each section. Let the bread bake for about 30 minutes and you are all finished. Enjoy!
