The ingredients you will need are 2 cans of chickpeas, 2 cloves of garlic, a sprig of rosemary, salt, tomato paste, 6 slices of stale bread, and extra virgin olive oil.
If you wish to use dried chickpeas, you will need to rinse and soak them in cold water for at least 12 hours. After draining, place them in a pan with fresh water, bring to a boil, and cook for about an hour until they are soft. As you can see, if you decide to use dried chickpeas, the preparation times will be longer. If you are opting for canned chickpeas, avoid cheap ones to ensure the best results for the recipe.
Prepare a sauté in a pan with garlic, oil, and rosemary. Then, add chickpeas, a bit of tomato paste, salt, and half a liter of water. Leave it to cook for around 15 minutes before turning off the heat.
