How to clean your floors in just one fell swoop
If you need to get your floors clean and time is also a factor, don’t worry. We have compiled a list of steps that will help you get your floors clean efficiently, getting the most out of your efforts.
Our method, however, does not translate to an incomplete job. It is still important to make sure that we get rid of mold and bacteria. We don’t want any chance of germs hanging around, posing a hazard to our health.
Thoroughly cleaning the dirt from the floors does not have to be as challenging as you may think, and this includes getting into all of the joints and crevices. The buildup that can accumulate in these hard-to-reach places can have a big impact on the overall cleanliness of your home.
As we get started, we first need to mention that we will not be resorting to the usual cleaning products found in big stores or online. These cleaners are not going to be adequate for obtaining the results that we want.
Instead, we have our own preferred list of products to use that don’t contain any dangerous compounds. All our ingredients will be completely eco-friendly and also inexpensive. You probably already have these products sitting in your home:
- Baking soda
- A sponge
- A little water
We will start by adding some baking soda to a bucket of water. Soak up your sponge and scrub vigorously along the surface as you usually would. You’ll see the dirt disappear without the need of any store-bought product. Additionally, you can also use white wine vinegar to help getting in between the small cracks in the floor and disinfect the surrounding air. You can witness your floors become clean inside and out with this simple method.
