How Placing a Towel on the Radiator Can Freshen the Air in the Bathroom

For the sake of our health and the quality of life at home, we all would like to keep the air in our homes fresh and clean. And among all the different places in the house, this is probably the most true when it comes to the bathroom. This is because it is the one room in the house that experiences the most traffic. In this article, we are going to find out how the radiator and a towel can contribute to the air smelling great in your bathroom.

Creating an Eco-Friendly Air Freshener

For this particular life hack, we will begin, of course, by getting ourselves a towel. Soak your towel in warm water and then wring it out. Now, take the damp towel and rub both sides with Marseille soap. Next, lightly rinse the towel again and wring it out. This will help make sure the soap penetrates deep into the towel’s fibers.

It is also worth noting that we are not limited to just Marseille soap when it comes to scents that we can use. We can also add the essential oil of our choice after applying the Marseille soap to our towel. This way, we can even get creative with different perfume combinations. The best way to add the essential oil is by adding about five drops of the oil to a spray bottle filled with water. Shake up the liquid, then spray the oil-infused vapor all over your towel.

At this point, we should be ready to lay the towel on the radiator. Just make sure to spread the towel neatly and evenly over the radiator so the pleasant scent can be dispersed properly. Also, make sure the radiator is turned on!
