How to clean dull and burnt cookware?
To clean and restore the shine of a stainless steel cookware, follow these steps: First, fill the pan with water and add 2-3 tablespoons of white vinegar. Then, bring everything to a boil. Once the pan has cooled down, you can apply a paste made from water and baking soda to clean it. This method effectively removes stains and restores the pot’s luster.
For a thorough cleaning of the stainless steel pot, generously apply the baking soda paste to the entire surface, with special attention to the stained areas. Allow it to sit for about 20 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. If dealing with very stubborn stains, don’t hesitate to repeat this process multiple times to achieve the desired results.
On the other hand, more delicacy should be applied with non-stick pans. The issue here is that the Teflon bottom scratches easily if rubbed too hard. To clean them, fill the pan with water and add two cups of baking soda. Heat it on low for 20 minutes, then pour the mixture into the sink.
For tough stains on non-stick pans, you can combine dishwashing liquid with water and baking soda to enhance the degreasing action. Use a soft sponge for gentle scrubbing if necessary.
